The story behind the journal

Where five-star service meets thoughtful storytelling

I arrived in Australia in 2024 from Daman, India, to pursue a Master of International Tourism and Hospitality Management at Griffith University. What I found was not just an education, but a profession I genuinely love.

“The craft of great service is not about doing more. It is about noticing quietly, and getting it exactly right.”

Working in luxury hotel operations while studying full-time has given me a perspective on hospitality that I couldn’t have found in a classroom alone.

This journal is where I write about all of it. Not the hotels themselves, but the profession. The philosophy of service. The standard of care. The small decisions that separate a good room from an unforgettable stay.

If you work in this industry or love staying in great hotels, I hope something here resonates with you.
